Hi to all.
I'm trying to read this wonderful series in chronological order.
However, I cannot place the following two short stories:
1) "Knowing you're Alive" (crossover with Dr. Morgan Snow), published in 2011, Anthology "In Session" (M. J. Rose)
2) "Smile", published in 2019, Anthology "Invisible Blood" (Maxim Jakubowski)
Can someone help me?
In which year of the in-story timeline should they be placed?
Should I count their publish date as the setting year?
Thank you.
I am asking because as some people might know, two other authors, Dan Ames and Diane Capri have permission to write in his universe. For example, David O'Donnell was killed in Diane Capri's book Get Back Jack, and Frances Neagley, a very popular character has been written in both Diane Capri's and Dan Ame's books.
Therefore, can we start adding their books and details to this site? Otherwise, the information on the Reacher universe in this site is a bit out of date.
It does not look like Season 2 will give any more insight on Joe. Given that were a few loose ends about his body in the morgue (6'-2" versus 6'-6", blond versus brown hair, burn on wrong wrist, only Reacher IDs him) it would appear that they got The Viking or someone else like the novel JOE REACHER suggests. Regardless, the interactions between the brothers are classic as they show the fundamental differences in approach and similarities in achieving mission objectives. So, none of the cast beyond Reacher and Neagley survived for Season 2 so we can assume no family throwbacks. At least not with the same actors...
Hopefully, they will choose Small Wars for Season 3...
It's a great day for Reacher fans, because after the incredible debut of the first season only three days ago, Amazon announced the official renewal of Reacher! The crew begins working on the new season shortly, but that's all we know for now. With the first season based on the first novel, which book do you hope is adapted next?
Jack Reacher comes to life on the 4th of February on Amazon Prime Video. All 8 episode of the first season will be available to stream.
The first season is based on the Lee Child novel Killing Floor.
Here is the first season trailer.
Just started reading this new release and haven't formed anyu opinions yet.
What do you think??
Ritchson and Episode 8 director MJ Bassett.
Stunt Director Buster Reeves gives Ritchson direction before a stunt.
Episode 8 director MJ Bassett with a giant clapper
Perhaps an interior of the Kliner warehouse.
It's off to post-production. Hopefully we'll get a trailer soon.
Feel free to discuss anything that falls within the world of Jack Reacher.
