Jeb Oliver is a character appearing in the 2012 film Jack Reacher which is based on the Lee Child novel One Shot. He is played by Josh Helman.
Biography[]
Jack Reacher (2012)[]
Jeb works at the DeFault Auto Parts store together with his girlfriend Sandy. One day, Jeb and four of his buddies are hired by Linsky to provoke a bar fight with Jack Reacher to get him to leave the town. They use Sandy as a bait who is supposed to get reacher to insult her. Jeb and his buddies then challenge Reacher to a fight outside the bar.
Reacher first takes out Jeb, then two of his buddies. The remaining two try to flee, but the police arrive and arrest them all. Reacher asks Jeb who hired him, but he remains silent. After leaving the jail together with his buddies, Jeb seeks out Linsky, who kills him and hides the body in several pieces.
Personality and Traits[]
Jeb was shown to be rather arrogant and cruel, willing to beat Reacher up for money and only backed off once he was beaten rather easily by the retired major. He was also shown to be somewhat cowardly as he decided to try and attack Reacher with his friends, rather than alone.

Jeb is a tall and somewhat athletic man with light skin and short black hair.

- The character Jeb Oliver does not appear in the novel One Shot. It is merely indicated there that several local men attempted to beat up Reacher after Sandy said he had called her a whore.
