Description[]

It's Christmas Eve in New York City and Reacher meets a comely flight attendant listening to a saxophone player in a bar. One thing leads to another and she invites him to Amsterdam. Does he need to pack any clothes? No. Ask his neighbors to get his mail? No. Does he have a passport? Why yes, and it's in his pocket with his folding toothbrush and ATM card.

Their flight is diverted to England due to bad weather and Reacher soon finds himself alone, on foot, and in a blizzard.  He sees a house up ahead with the lights on and he figures that they might welcome him in from the storm, after all, it's Christmas Eve and maybe they have a tradition.
