Paul 'Paulie' Van Hoven was a former US soldier, now working as a bodyguard for Zachary Beck to protect his operation under direct orders from Francis Xavier Quinn.
Biography[]
After enlisting in the U.S. Army, Paulie was involved in a physical altercation with a fellow soldier during basic training. He was charged with assault and was sentenced to 3 months confinement and reduction in rank to E-1. Several years later, he was again charged with assault after striking a Captain and causing dislocation of his left eye. He was sentenced to 18 months of confinement in Leavenworth Prison and received a dishonourable discharge after being charged of tearing off a Commissioned Officer's finger. Before his discharge, he was sentenced to serve an additional 18 months in Leavenworth and total forfeiture of all pay and allowances.

- In order to prepare for the fight between himself and Alan Ritchson, Richters trained for five hours a day, and consumed 7,000 calories to maintain his weight.[1]
