As Jack Reacher wanders throughout US and sometimes abroad, he frequently gets involved in conspiracies, murders, terrorism plots and other various cases. Driven by his sense of justice and morality, Reacher often apprehends or kills the culprits in each cases. During his investigations, Reacher often encounters people that either willing to help or begrudgingly cooperated with him in a common goal.
During his time as MP in the army, Reacher was assigned to cases with new associates and close friends in his aid. In his wandering, post-military days, he tried to avoid getting into conflict, but often obligated himself to solve the cases and avenged murdered victims. During his investigation, he encountered many people who have their own reasons and motivations. Despite being caring, he rarely allowed himself to form any long-term relationships. In many cases, they often emerged alive; however, in some cases, some have fallen victims to the ongoing cases or was killed by the culprits. As he determined to keep moving on, he bids them farewell before resuming his journey.
