Simon Northwood (born February 12, 1968) is an English stuntman and actor portraying Rusty in Season Three of the Reacher series on Amazon Prime.
Early Life[]
Simon Northwood was born on February 12, 1968, in Wimbledon, England. His father has been a Carnival Cruise Director for over 20 years. During 1980, his family moved between the United States and Canada until they finally settle down in Burlington, Ontario. In 1985, Simon got interested in Martial Arts and started training for 24 years, attaining a Yodan belt or fourth degree black belt in Wado Kai Karate. His interests in acting and stunt performance peaked during his training years, reason why he went to Sheridan College and took animation courses during 1992. In 2000, Simon was part of the Canadian National Karate Team. Simon worked in the animation industry for 10 years and was hired by Disney Studios Canada to be F/X Animator. Despite enjoying the works, Simon's need to take his artistic talents onto the big screen got stronger and decided to step out from animation and began taking acting classes and trained to pursue a career as an action actor.
