Smackdown is the fifth episode of the third season of the Reacher Prime Video television series. It aired on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service on March 6, 2025.
Synopsis[]
When a DEA tragedy puts the entire mission at risk, Reacher, Duffy, and Villanueva improvise a drastic plan to save their cover.
Plot[]
When Reacher can't contact Duffy, he calls Eliot to call the company's number. Susan and Villanueva are investigating the warehouse when Duffy notices the telephone constantly ringing. She eventually answers the phone and Eliot tells her to get out since Quinn sent his men there. Soon, a gunfight breaks out between Quinn's men and Duffy and Villanueva; Reacher helps Duffy and Villanueva escape, and Villanueva throws Angel Doll's laptop outside. At the cabin, Eliot gives the captive bodyguard a lighter for his cigarette and the captive bodyguard uses the opportunity to kill Eliot by kicking on his head, killing him . After discovering that the feds are spying on them, Quinn's men move into the house. When Duffy finds Eliot dead and the bodyguard has escaped, she calls Reacher to tell him so and get him out of the house, but Reacher formulates a plan involving Villanueva.
Duffy cuts the power and Reacher uses Villanueva as bait. Reacher and Villanueva flips over his car and Reacher tells Villanueva to act dead. Soon the bodyguard arrives at the car and sees Villanueva awake. Reacher then kills the bodyguard by shooting him in the head. Back at the house, Zachary instructs Quinn's men to search the house from top to bottom since he believes that there is a undercover agent at their house. Back at the house, Zachary informs Reacher that a phone was found in the room of Annette, the maid. She was an ATF infiltrator and that Paulie has killed her. Reacher tells Duffy that several Feds are spying on them and that Quinn is dealing in firearms, not drugs. The next morning, Zachary informs Reacher that they have been summoned to a factory. Reacher and Zachary arrive there just as they are about to meet Quinn.
