Major Stanley Lowrey is a U.S. Army Major who was one of the founding members of the U.S. Army 110th MP Special Investigations Unit. He was hand picked by Reacher to join him in his new unit that was created to investigate the Army's toughest cases. After leaving the Army, Lowrey moved to Montana and raised sheep. He was hit by a truck and died as a result.
