Major Susan Turner is a character appearing in the novel Never Go Back. She is the current Commanding Officer of the U.S. Army 110th MP Special Investigations Unit located in Rock Creek Virginia.
Reacher has finally made his way from South Dakota to Rock Creek to pay her a visit and possibly take her to dinner, when he learns that she has been arrested on a charge of bribery. Knowing that something is wrong, Reacher seeks out her attorney, Colonel Moorcroft, and finds that he has not taken any action to have her released from custody. Later, Moorcroft is found to have been "beaten half to death" and Reacher is taken into custody. While in custody at the same facility as Turner, Reacher engineers a breakout for both of them.
Turner is brought up to speed regarding the situation at her unit and agrees to accompany Reacher as he works to unravel the conspiracy. Ultimately, They inflict justice on the conspirators as well as their minions and Turner is restored to her command.

You must have a number you remember from your Army days that you can call and get information for the Bolton police. Reacher calls and asks for information from the new head of his former unit. That new head turns out to be Major Susan Turner. She requests his personnel file from Human Resources to get background on him. So some interesting Reacher background data is also shared. She does request information for him pertaining to the Army base, now inhabited by bikers near the town of Bolton. Reacher in turn listens to a current problem that Turner is investigating, helps her locate a hiding soldier and suggests a tactic for questioning him.
Major Turner is mentioned in the episode Persuader . Reacher called Powell, looking for her, only to be told she was undercover and incommunicado for two weeks.
