The 110th MP Special Investigations Unit was a fictional command within the U.S Army Military Police Corps. It was formerly commanded by Major Jack Reacher before he retired. It was then later taken over by Major Susan Turner.
Shortly after Reacher was promoted to major the second time, he was tasked with creating the Special Investigations Unit and Reacher hand picked his team of Special Investigators which were then given many of the toughest cases the army needed to investigate.
At some point, Reacher grew tired of the military lifestyle and retired. With Susan Turner taking over the unit. Later, Colonel Morgan briefly took over the unit after Turner was under investigation for the murder of two military officers in Afghanistan. However, after the charges were cleared and Colonel Morgan was killed, Susan Turner took back command of her unit.
